Clockwork Orange Bowler Or Pirate Bunny

I found this beautiful black cotton yarn with shiny red nubs in my yarn stash and knew it would make a perfect hat for a Blythe doll. Anya is modeling it and it kind of reminds me of a bowler style hat. I've been toying around with possibly making it into a bunny ear hat and I started one of the ears already. When I placed the hat on Anya's head it looked perfect the way it is. Still undecided about leaving it alone or adding to it. I'd love to hear your opinions on this one.

Get Crafty and Pay It Forward 2011

Happy 2011

To start off my blogging for this year I decided to be part of the Crafty Pay It Forward movement. It sounds like a fun project and I am totally excited to begin. I am already on the amazing, incredibly talented designer Brasscupcake list and am now paying it forward.

Crafty Pay it Forward 2011: I promise to send something handmade to the first 5 people who leave a comment here. They must in turn post this on their blog or Twitter and send something they make to the first 5 people who comment on their status. *Rules: it must be handmade by you and it must be sent to your 5 people sometime in 2011.
As people comment on this post, I will post their names here and blog about the craft items I make for their Blythe, Byul, Dal, Pullip, Pukifee, Nappy Choo or child. Each person will receive something different from me. Please let me know which doll you’d like it for or for your baby/child in the comments section.

Thank you for participating and helping me make this a fun successful crafty year!
